Heathrow

Not a lot to report. I woke at 1.15am and was unable to sleep so was glad to get up at 3.15. We were in the car at 3.30, having first got under the bathroom floor to turn off the stopcock. Talk about stable door.

Left car at #3 daughter’s, popped car keys in her letter box and got the taxi at4.20. It was£21.70 to the airport which included the £4 he had to pay to get out of the drop off point.

Coffee and a hang about till the 6.25am flight. It only takes 45 minutes to London. Luckily we are BA all the way so didn’t need the horrendous security queues there. Read the Gusrdian and had breakfast. I had to send the raw eggs florentine back.

After a wander around and having finished the paper, we got the train to zone B for our 12.45 flight. It takes 12 hours then the bus to hotel. Hopefully we’ll get a snooze on the flight.
