Sunny Lupins

This morning I was out the door before 8 a.m. to walk around the block.  It was all action.  The fun runners were just setting out, with  quite a few dressed for Halloween!  The extras is of some of the competitors running by.  It is a 5 k run, suitable for all ages!  I am not tempted!

My daughter and I spent a few hours in the garden, because my eldest daughter who lives in Melbourne, is coming on Monday to visit us for a week.  We are all very excited.  Then this afternoon I finished off my walk by the lake, many people sitting in the sun and enjoying the day, even though it is a bit breezy.

Today is the 5th November, I wonder if there will be any fireworks in the neighbourhood.  We enjoy the Matariki fireworks, which is held in July.
