A jackdaw waiting in the rain

I saw the jackdaw fly up to the power cables in the neighbours back garden. I got up from my desk, opened the window slowly and managed to grab this picture with the delightful background colours of the nearby trees  and the Butterow hillside,  far away across the Golden Valley. You can probably just make out the dropping rain falling.
