Reflections

A welcome overnight city break in Manchester.  Great to see R on her (new) turf and enjoy some good food together. 

Today we visited the Whitworth Gallery.   Newly renovated, it is a really beautiful building with interesting exhibitions including visual and audio.  

The main is of a tree sculpture outside in the park, I loved all the reflections. 

There’s some extras :
- wide corridors and chunky shiny frames

- photos of June Street residents in their living rooms, before the street was demolished. The photos were later used to inform the original set designers on Coronation street. 

- the girl herself 

Much colder, lit the first fire when we got home.
