Falling on my head like a new emotion
Sunrise was glorious this morning with a hint of what was coming.
Our hall was alive with pink... and when i peered through the blinds what a sky... All photographic equipment was downstairs and I wasn't in the mood for the naked run.
We awaited the worst weather, and at about 1130 the winds started to pick up, I watched in awe as the rain pounded against our main door - we are under a canopy - and doesn't usually get the weather but we did today.
I carried on working til 445. Then I had to run. Covid Update. Only round the corner at the airport, but drive, park run.... so off I went.
20 people in the queue ahead of me, 20 tables, I was only standing for maybe 20 minutes, and i was in. Flu and Covid one arm. Lovely. Then I had a nice chat with one of Boy's mate's mum while we waited to see if we were going to collapse. Neither of us did.
When I got home, Himself was sitting on the side of the sofa.. which way did you come home... "By pass" He said "its high tide"...
So back into the car and off we toddled.
Heavens but it's invigorating. It was exactly high tide, but it was blowing from a weird direction so not quite as wild as I have seen it, but bloody great fun.
now I'm going to have fish fingers and chips. I am so excited.
