A day off

Some sunshine promised for the morning so we loaded the old hot water tank and scrap copper pipe into the car and headed off to Newmarket to ‘weigh it all in’.
Really positive outcome with £79.00 now in our account.
Then onward to Toolstation where returning the unused pipefittings yielded another £27.00.
So to Anglesey Abbey for quite a long walk around the grounds looking at a bit of late autumn colour before having lunch in their cafe.
Home via Screwfix for some more restocking of unused bits and another £20 odd back in the bank. Even allowing for the cost of a National Trust lunch we were still well ahead on the day!
