Meandering

One walk was cancelled today, for tedious reasons, but I managed to fit in another - around Watergrove where the water levels are rising quickly, not least due to this brook which is carving into bits of the shoreline.The abandonment of this meander and creation of an ox bow lake would make current and, in my case, former, students of geography very happy. I also caught a distant view of a row of cottages from which a fragment looked OK.
