Lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer

Today the temperature peaked at around plus 32, the hottest day so far this year. Chiqui, our 6 1/2 pound Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher, and I, were feeling the heat so we stopped in a little park overlooking Kamloops, B. C. and had a wonderful rest in this cool patch of shade. The view is from ground level because I took advantage of our break to get really comfortable. Chiqui stayed right beside me and seemed to be enjoying the rest as much as I.
