Golden Eagle

First day of our trade show today. Strolling round the hall I noticed this Golden Eagle sitting on another exhibitor's booth - a very impressive bird that this shot (taken on the phone without flash so as not to disturb the eagle) doesn't do justice. The golden colours in the feathers are amazing close up - and I even got to give it a pat on the head (at the handler's invite). There was also an owl on the booth - I may take my DSLR tomorrow and see if they are still there.
