What a coincidence

An early start today as fellow Blipper and friend A and I headed up to the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas. We’ve been quite a few times but there is always something new to be seen.
Today as I looking at the Commando’s memorial I spotted a name I knew. It was that Mr Ablewhite who had lived next door to us for about 40 years. When I rang my Dad to ask him, he confirmed that Mr A had been in the Commandos and had always gone to the reunions. I’m still quite surprised at the coincidence …
