Dusk

The evenings are drawing in after the change of hour at the weekend. However, it was another warm day. Today is a Bank holiday but the market in town was still on and the supermarket open in the morning. After an early lunch, I played a doubles tennis but lost a close match. I went on to French conversation but Daniel, our francophone, could not attend. However, a young girl was hanging around waiting for her friend who had not turned up. We invited her to join us for a chat and she stayed for the whole session talking about her school and friends so was a useful addition to the group.
