Lorna Lloyd mentions London a few times in her Diary of the war (previously blipped in full in the LornaL journal, and now available as a podcast series with Lorna's great-great niece playing her great-great aunt). These mentions are made on:

- 11th September 1940, 24th September 1940 when Lorna refers to air attacks on the city
- 4th November 1940 when Lorna notes that the previous night was the first since September 17th that London had not experienced an air-raid alarm
- 5th December 5th 1940 when Lorna lists all the places that have been bombed in recent weeks
- 31st December 1940 when Lorna says that the city 'vanishes gradually'

With the exception on the last one listed, the above diary entries feature in Episode 7 of our podcast series. That for 31st December 1940 is found in Episode 8.
