Ely cathedral

On Saturday afternoon, we watched couple of horror films. One was about a seance via Zoom during lockdown, seen only from the Zoom footage – like a pandemic version of The Blair Witch Project. It was ok. The second was an old classic, which was apparently innovative and controversial in its day, but wasn’t what we’d call a horror film.

Sunday was American football day. As I’d been disappointed on Thursday, so was Mr Pandammonium on this day.

Today, I did the last of the grouting. I need to get some more sealant – frightfully messy stuff – and popped to the café in Ely where my writing group meet for a cuppa and a slice of pecan pie. I prepared some material to use during our imminent meeting. I also reminded the owners of the café of the meeting.

When I left, it was dark and the cathedral’s lantern tower was lit up. I don’t know what these colours mean, if anything.

After Pilates, we watched another horror film. This one was very weird, then it finished without having come to a conclusion.

The moral of the horror story is not to let me choose the film.

Addendum

It turns out that nine bells is not enough, which is unfortunate as I don’t have any more.
