Tea time!
After yesterday’s strenuous gym session, Jane decided not to go today, she needed a rest! But she took Archie out instead - she’s bonding with him - becoming familiar with his little quirks - as she’ll be looking after him soon.
I busied myself with some light housework and generally did nothing much today.
I am pleased to report that Archie wanted to jump up on the bed last night - this is worth mentioning, because he has not wanted to do this for absolutely ages. When he’s in his ‘moods’ he won’t let you stroke or cuddle him.
Hazel is very very excited - she’s off to South Africa tomorrow. And NOT a ridiculously early time either. Business Class too. She’s going to the Safari Lodge that we went to a couple of five years ago - Vuyani Lodge. Our brilliant driver, TJ, no longer works there, sadly. Did I say we’re not jealous…
Here’s Archie with his evening meal - two kinds of kibble (one for his sensitive tummy), Greek yoghurt, diced carrots, mint, bran and his daily anxiety pill. I’m tempted myself…
PS There’s been a development with the pop-up shop… (Extra)
