Erupting

Yellow Brain fungus erupting from a fallen branch. When I took this photograph I discovered that I'd lost my lens cap, presumably somewhere on the Chiltern Way in Oxfordshire yesterday. I will have to retrace my steps when I'm back there next week. I once left a tripod on heathland and returned to find it still standing there a month later, so I am optimistic about the lens cap, although it will be much harder to spot.
