2022 Friday — Our Final Night

Tomorrow morning we will leave here for SoCal. So we’ve spent this day cleaning, tidying-up, and gathering our things. The day outside has been beautiful, and I’ve found myself at moments slipping into a melancholy mood, which is crazy since I have been the one who is anxious to get back to SoCal (we’ve been here at the coast for entirely too long — 4 months).

We ate dinner at the Sea Shanty, and then we went to watch the sun as it was setting beyond the Cayucos pier.

This has been the last Friday of October.
