Sunny stroll

A surprisingly warm day.  The plan was to just walk round the grounds of Abbey House. But Fletch was full of energy and we decided to walk on down past the ruins and round. 
A much longer walk but enjoyed by all 3 of us. 

It felt quite summery.

Extra is of an old Farm cottage which we can just make out down the overgrown lane. It always fascinates me. 

Update on the photo I posted on the 25th.  The beautiful trees have been "pruned " ie they have been drastically chopped smothered is nothing more than a trunk and stumps.  I posted my photo in the local photography group and its sparked a lot of comments about the council's decision to do such drastic work, especially when the trees were looking so beautiful. They have done the same in a number of other roads in town.
