All day rain

In the 24 hours to noon we'd had 50mm . It's been raining all day and I've not checked the gauge since then , but I'll go out in 5 minutes at 5.30 pm.
( just checked...21 mm between noon and 5.30pm.)
The good thing is I spread manure over the vegetable beds yesterday, so they'll be washing in nicely.
