En route to Dingle, a quick stop off in Kenmare for ginormous French patisseries, a new book (Manchán Mangan :Listen to the Land Speak) and a hat for Himself.
On to Killarney where the colours were amazing and Torc Waterfall was in full spate. Note snazzy new beret courtesy of Soletrader and the Kilkenny fairies. A quick look at Muckross Abbey and on to the Dingle Peninsula where the heavens opened and we got severely drenched going out to find somewhere to eat. Worth it for the food in Solas is exceptional. Sort of tapas and sort of sharing, and the individual plates arrive when they are ready. The fig tempura was incredible - the honey was magnificently floral!
