Autumn Leaves

Spotted this car on the way to the gym this morning. I’m guessing it’s been parked there for a while as none of the other cars on the road had that many leaves on them. A visual reminder that autumn is well and truly upon us.
I made the mistake of telling my trainer that I wanted him to really work on my arms and abs this morning. On the basis that I can barely hold my phone as I type this, I’d say job done. And I have no doubt that I’ll feel it even more tomorrow.
It’s a typically grey, rainy October day today, and I can’t decide whether or not to go out tonight. An American folk/country duo are performing at the Bryce Institute tonight - a seemingly unlikely choice of venue as their website lists all their next gigs as back in the US.
I’m always open to listening to new/different music acts and it lends a bit of support to the theatre I have frequented for the last thirty years. On the other hand, I’m very happily ensconced in my armchair in front of the telly at the moment and really don’t want to go out into the rain. Maybe see how I feel after tea.
Update: realised we hadn’t actually got anything in the fridge to have for tea, and had to go to Asda. Spotted the same car now looking as if it had just been valeted, so maybe it wasn’t abandoned after all!
