Lasting well

First on my list of plants to grow next year is most definitely Cosmos. They are still gracing the chaotic untidy garden with their vivid colours.

I’ve had a quiet morning, waiting in for a parcel from the Apple store (via Royal Mail ! who actually delivered).

I finished reading the third Richard Osman novel. To be more exact, I finished listening to the eAudiobook from Staffordshire Library Service. It’s read by Fiona Shaw, a brilliant actress who can draw the very best out of the humour and characters.

I think it’s a bit long, but I still loved the experience. I really do think that Richard Osman has done a great service for pensioners. Yes, he’s sometimes a bit patronising, but the key four of The Thursday Murder Club have such fun, and are so wonderfully alive.

And I confess, I did Google a Cotswold Retirement Village………
