Blackbeard and the pirate

A dull kind of day, but I needed to get out to stretch the weary limbs, so Mrs M and I walked down town for the usual Saturday 'fish from the pier' and one or two other odds and ends. While I waited for Mrs M to be served I wandered along the pier with my camera and spotted this pirate doing a bit of face-painting at the Seafood Shack - I've no idea what was afoot though!

Our young joiner guy began dismantling the deck this morning - a very pleasant, polite and well-educated young fella - I sneakily looked him up on Linked-in! I won't tell, but he's definitely a cut above the average contractor. I hope all goes well with the job, but it looks promising!
