Soon to be Three

One of the reasons for this trip is to be here for our little grandson's third birthday.  Because of Covid, we missed the first two.  

He was slow to walk, and very slow with his speech, but suddenly he is catching up.  His comprehension has always been excellent, but the speech pathways were slow to form.  He is very interested in the planets, the night sky and can name all the planets in order from the sun.  He loves maps and knows where every state is and manages to say Mississippi, Tennessee and Oklahoma without a problem.  

He started preschool in September and is thriving in it so much so that his parents are thinking about increasing from 3 days to five days.  He is at such a fun age and we are so glad we are here to see it.
