Mooch!

My foot is getting steadily better and is further assisted by some insoles that the Minx bought for my DMs, having discovered that I've worn them so often that there's virtually no cushioning left at all.

Thus, we were better position today for a proper mooch about, starting with an amble down to a food hall that the Minx discovered on Sunday, where we had coffees and pastries, before heading further down towards the city and having a look around some shops, albeit mostly window shopping.

We ended our wanderings on Olaf Ryes plass, where we finally ventured into a Norwegian bar. The price of drinks seems to be the one thing that everyone knows about Norway, and indeed the cost of this pair was on the eye-watering side: about ten quid apiece, and they're half litres, not pints (not that that's a major difference).

On the other hand, I've found myself paying seven quid for a pint in parts of Manchester, so perhaps it wasn't *that* much worse. And anyway, it was a lovely bar, with a nice view out over the square, and my best gal by my side.
