An interesting book

I have just finished reading this book….I bought it quite a while ago soon after it was published in 2016 and had mislaid it. I always liked listening to Jenni Murray on Woman’s Hour and was interested to see who she had chosen for her 21 women! The list starts with Boadicea and Elizabeth I…includes Mary Seacole and Ada Lovelace as well as Emmeline Pankhurst and ends with Barbara Castle, Margaret Thatcher, Mary Quant and Nicola Sturgeon.
It’s a good book to have in a bedroom as easy to read.

A busy day as we have had the grandchildren and they are staying for a sleepover. This afternoon they helped me sweep the leaves in the garden then we took Libby for a walk and they went in the playground which has a new trampoline.
