Heritage Park

A remarkable change in the weather this morning after a very wet start.

After our Wednesday games of badminton I decided to nip up to the Heritage Park to check on the waterfowl. About a dozen Greylag Geese, one pair of Canada Geese, four or five Little Grebes but they were too far away for a photo and up at the far end of the loch, sheltered from the wind, I found the swan family. The lone cygnet is still with mum and dad ….. I don’t even know if has started trying to fly.

A good visit to the optician. I don’t need new glasses but I do have to take better care of the ones I have! There is a slight change in my astigmatism it as long as I have the prisms in my lenses things will be fine. The new optician agreed with my previous optician (now retired) that I don’t need drops …. my pupils are large enough.
