Quite a poser!

Dressed for the wet, windy weather Fouter and I headed to the park …… if I thought the ground was wet yesterday today it was like a quagmire and not surprisingly the park was almost deserted.

I was hoping to get a photograph of a blue tit but they are so fast often just grabbing a seed as they fly over. The coal tits do linger for a second or two but you still have to be quick with the shutter.

Robin Redbreast is the best model because he does hang around, or fly to another nearby branch or stone on the wall. All sightings will be much easier when the leaves have fallen and the birds don’t have so many places to hide.
