Bowscale Fell

Definitely needs to be viewed large on black!

Home for a couple of days before I disappear off "down south" - not too long a walk today, Bowscale Fell sits near Blencathra, in the "Back o'Skiddaw" group. As it's half term, we thought it might be quieter than the more popular fells. We were right - saw only a handful of people (possibly only partly due to the winds, which were pretty fierce). Had a lovely day, with much clearer skies than we expected, though Blencathra remained mostly in cloud, we managed quite a lot of sun.
