Devil's Punch Bowl

There wasn't a lot of colour in the valley itself, but there was much more interest in some of the paths which circled round the punchbowl. 

Some fortuitous smoke from forestry bonfires and some occasional sunlight worked their woodland magic.

(Overcast skies put paid to any eclipse action in the southeast...)
