Wooten wawen

This evening I met B in Wooten wawen and we took Sid and Pierce for a walk by the canal. There was some autumn colour but not quite fully in it’s autumn finery yet. We both saw the kingfisher, very lucky. Then we sat on the grass and had a mini snack. We did find we were actually sitting amongst the brambles! Then on the way back we had an unexpected adventure. Sid spotted a man with his dog and got spooked and zoomed off down the track towards the road. Very worried that he would just run straight down the road but thankfully he was quite sensible and was sat waiting by the car. …. Phew ….. an adventure we could do without but actually quite pleased that he found the car and sat next to it waiting for us.
