Ella and Nathaniel visit

The chap came to check the damp situation this morning. The hall is fine now. Turns out the dehumidifier in the bedroom hadn’t been working so he moved the hall one there and will come back in a week.

This jolly pair arrived this afternoon, being dropped off by their parents who were en route to have a night in a hotel in Otterburn. (Originally they’d all been going to stay here but given the state of the downstairs bedroom we had no room).

We had a wander round the village, calling at a couple of little play parks, on the way passing this housing estate with a steep grass bank down to the road. They decided to roll down holding hands.

Ella, aged 10, is so tall now, up to my shoulder.

Sunak, the right wing billionaire, is now PM, having been put there by his fellow Tory MPs.
