Vacancy!

Today was a very long day, as it always is when we travel to visit with my parents. They live 150 miles away, so we drive three hours each way for a visit.

We haven't visited in a few months, so we really wanted to go. My parents have a little backyard paradise for the birds with feeders and houses hung from branches. With warm temperatures and beautiful blue skies, we spent most of the day chatting on the back deck.

I chose this photo because I loved the little yellow Wren house with the blazing Forsythias beyond.
