Heading Home From The Pub

We’ve still been feeling lethargic today so after a lazy Sunday breakfast we picked up the torrent of apples that had fallen in the garden in our absence, drew up some (very sketchy) plans for the fitted wardrobe in our new en-suite then dragged ourselves out for a short walk this afternoon.

Later we collected Sophie for a sleepover: it’s her Dad’s birthday today so he and Kate are going out for a meal with friends.

Chris joined us for an easy dinner in Wetherspoon’s. I took this photo of him, Sophie and Tess walking down the side road that leads to the back lane to our garden. It’s all of two minutes from the pub!
