Cows

When we viewed this apartment our landlord assured us that there were often cows or horses in the field behind, which is overlooked by our 1st floor kitchen.

We've been here almost 6 weeks now, and only a few days ago we were teasing F, telling him the only things that seemed to thrive in the field were crows and telegraph posts.

Then yesterday I walked in to the kitchen, and there were cows.  Well, actually, I believe they are bullocks.

We woke to further torrential rain this morning, but by lunchtime it was clearing up, and we came home from food shopping to a warm, sunshine afternoon.  Fridge, freezer and fruit bowl now well topped up.
