Spiky

This is getting repetitive - I'm blipping another spiky plant today, after yesterday's cactus. This is Lomandra, an Australian grass commonly called Mat Rush. There are about 50 species and I'm not sure which one this is. They are easy to grow and readily available. I photographed this one while walking to the lookout.

Today has been grey and showery again. We've had around 50 mm of rain in the last 8 hours. With more forecast. This doesn't pose any problems for us, but sadly it does for many low-lying communities nearby.
