Stoke-on-Trent

On my way to see Coventry win (again) - this time 2-0 away at Stoke - I met Chris, Gas and Mart at this magnificent pub in the City Centre, the Glebe. The surrounding area has some interesting, if fallen-on hard times, buildings such as the market hall. It also has a very odd (commemorative?) public art structure. Not far away, on the canalside, are the remains of an old pottery works, for which the five towns which make up the City of Stoke-on Trent were famous.
