From the Hopper show at the Whitney

It’s a very interesting show — not Hopper’s Greatest Hits, but a huge range of pictures showing his versions of New York. The two I’ve included here are interiors: this painting is actually called “Interior,” and the etching in the extra is called “Evening Wind.” Both from around 1921.
