Day off of joy

A super duper day off! A lazy lie-in, a book delivery, a visit to the newly retired one at Groove Cottage, pottering about and the prospect of some delicious Mexican food with friends later. Hello half term!

This book was sent by one of my new bosses and charts the beginnings of the charity I’m about to begin working for, Mary’s Meals. I’m a couple of chapters in and have mostly been reading with tears in my eyes. I’ve never been more convinced that I’ve made the right move.
