Viburnum Summer Flakes……

……. aka “Virburnum plicatum tomentosum”. Such a long name for this pretty flowering shrub which is gracing the garden at present. When I photographed it this evening I couldn’t recall the name of the shrub. So I uploaded two images of it to one of my favourite Facebook groups. “Plant Identification New Zealand”. Group members were very helpful and gave me the shrub’s name within minutes.
Friend Cathie visited this afternoon. We lolled around in the two “Lazyboy” chairs that I bought from the Salvation Army Charity Shop this week. It was good to chill out on the verandah looking out at the Flowering Cherry Tree whilst the cats socialized with us.
