Diner in Newtown, Connecticut
We left early this morning to drive back from Marylee's reunion at Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania. We drove most of the five hours on Route I-84, and in Connecticut we stopped for lunch at the Blue Colony Diner in Newtown--obviously a popular spot.
We had a good meal, and I must admit we didn't dwell on the murder of the twenty school children which occurred there last December. This mother managed to leave without yielding to the pleas of her little girl.
