Half way

I am toiling with this book, Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason. I won’t give up though!
We went to see our friends this morning for coffee. He had a small seizure a week last Sunday ( he had a stroke 3 years ago) He is fine but now on medication and is not allowed to drive which means he can’t get to work. He is hoping to get something sorted soon.
It has rained all day, very dreich and dull.
We braved the rain and went for tea to our local pub. Nice to get out.
