It all comes 'round again...

You might think this is an unreal abstract for Thursday, but believe me the Acer plantations at Westonbirt Arboretum will take your breath away. Ok, this is a five frame HDR - the weather was perfect; no winds and sunny blue skies. It's accentuated the gobsmacking colours, but they really are spectacular right now. We were fortunate and picked the perfect day to visit.

Unreal and abstract... well go on then, say it... Was the whole Thick Lizzy shambles a clever way for Boriski to look like a plausible replacement? If so it was a bold move, threatening the Tory party with complete and terminal disaster. I suspect though that the right wing coup that in fact had gained power in the UK, after stealing most of the available cash, simply had no idea how to run a government, and collapsed into disarray.

And now they're talking about an online ballot of members to fast track a new Prime Minister. Notwithstanding the same party legislated to ban online ballots for trade unions, I strongly suspect most of the online party membership is made up of Russian and Chinese bots. Where do we go from here; so many precedents, so much tradition and protocol torn up.
