Corinthian columns & cornices
Feeling distinctly achy and tired after the multitude of jabs yesterday but we were up early again, and this time Himself was having bloods taken followed by an eye examination which included drops so a duty driver was needed. Whilst waiting for him I had a mooch around the grounds of Bantry House. I wasn't sure if you had to pay to go into the gardens so attached myself to a group of Americans who were wandering around getting very excited - everything was definitely awesome! I then went off pistes and explored the gigantic but neglected walled kitchen gardens which once had four glass houses, a vinery and a potting shed.
The colours are looking amazing at the moment and the gigantic crane adds a bit of oddity - cornices and Corinthian columns are being sorted.
Himself now can't see much and has a headache and I'm still wafty so we have postponed some friends who were coming to supper until tomorrow.
The chaos continues across the water then.
