Leaving again

Blipping early today to save my phone battery in case there’s no charging opportunities later on. I’m on the train from Dumfries to Carlisle, the first stage of my journey to Sussex for what (I hope) will be my last trip of 2022. Across the aisle are a couple with their cat. I’ll take a pic and make it an extra.

So strange to be travelling during the day..in fact I think I much prefer going overnight nowadays. I’ll be returning that way next week.

As you can see, D is looking sad to say goodbye, and so is Jess (just visible behind his right knee). I’m sure they’ll be fine once I’ve gone :-)
