A Corner of My Garden….

It seems really odd to be saying “My garden” rather than “Our garden”….. after 56 years of saying “ Our garden” it’s taking time to speak in the singular about house and garden matters.
Today’s image shows my flowering cherry tree in full bloom in a corner of my garden. Alas the petals are beginning to fall like pale pink snowflakes. This evening I swept up a carpet of pale lilac Wisteria petals from the patio areas. They are so very pretty but I need to remove them often . If it rains the petals stick to the concrete cobbles like glue. It has been very warm today. Long may it last but please God let it rain during the nighttime hours.
