Birthday weekend continues

Mom n pops in law visited this morning and bought me some fabulous lilies and a fab minature garden ornament plus birthday cake. Yum

Mom dad and Ali arrived at 11.30. I was so excited to see them. Mom bought Collin the catapillar cakes, and a chocolate cube cake, we had hot chicken sandwiches for lunch and I cooked chicken chasseur and roast veg for dinner.

We spent the whole day hanging out in the kitchen. Dad had bought me the most fabulous brass castings made by my great grandad. My grandad and great grandad were casters in the Black Country for John harper and rubery Owen. Dad had bought me down some of my grandads moulding tools. They have his initials stamped in in the most beautiful type face. I have a little cry. They are well worn in tools and very beautiful.

We have a fabulous day a f a stroll round the garden. We had great fun making words out of the letters on the cubes of cake.

The day is over too soon.
