Wrong season

I’m still playing catch-up after our holiday. When I had a wander round the garden upon our return home, I found this azalea with its leaves in autumn colour but also with quite a few blooms that shouldn’t be there until spring-time! It will be interesting to see what will happen next April or May.

We spent the morning catching up with four friends who are also neighbours. It was lovely to be together for the first time in several months, due to Covid, holidays and a hip operation. However, we are making up for lost time by planning a meal together on Saturday.
