Fisherman Huts
This morning was the usual coffee time with the ES guys...they are such a joy! Then back into town to write a charity update (sat in one of the new-to-us comfy armchairs in the centre!), bumped into one of the women from the streets who I've not seen for ages, so we went to get a drink together. The queue was long but it gave us extra time for conversation.
Stephen and Emma dropped the next 7 armchairs off to the centre - they look lovely put into little groupings...now I'm on the hunt for coffee tables.
Stephen, Danny and I had our long anticipated retreat afternoon today. We headed off to a cafe near the salt flats to start our time and then walked to these fisherman huts, discussing various aspects of life and work here, future and dreams... It was a very good afternoon, and even better off the back of our zoom with Donald on Monday night. So much more to talk through, part one of several I think. We got home about 7 just after Emma and the kids had got home. They'd had a brilliant afternoon with her, Nate declared himself to be in 'Emma heaven'!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny and Stephen - an extra of them where we started our walk.
2) Emma looking after the kids so we could take a few hours out of the day for this retreat afternoon.
3) Being out in the countryside.
