Salmon with Apple and Mustard Slaw

We were out early for me to see the MSK physio (the private middleman outfit contracted by our healthcare trust to deliver what used to be NHS). This organisation apparently rents space in a health centre in Morpeth. It was 7 months since the physio recommended I be referred to the next step up. The receptionist didn’t think I was in the right place and sent me upstairs to another outfit but they had no idea either. I went back down and this time they realised they had expected someone with a name which sounds similar to mine - a mistake had been made but luckily I was not too late. She’s agreed to refer me to see a radiologist to have a steroid injection guided by ultrasound for the frozen shoulder diagnosed 18 months ago - though she says people my age don’t get frozen shoulders. The previous physio in MSK didn’t have the authority to refer me and our GP couldn’t either as he’s part of the trust which buys service from MSK. What a waste of time and NHS money.

I retired upstairs when we got back - away from the noise of the fans and dehumidifiers. I did a bit of my Scandinavian Blurb book. My Iceland one is over a week late in arriving - it went back and forth from Paris to Dartford and seems to have got lost. Blurb says FedEx are having problems with delivery throughout Europe.

I made Mr C a nice supper from an Ottolenghi which had only 2 sauces and wasn’t complicated. It was delicious.
