Croft Hoose at Sandsoond

There was lights showers first thing, but they cleared and a beautiful sunny morning.  Some clouds in the afternoon, with a clear calm night.

Another day off, and up early.  After a morning puttering about the house, I met Julie for walkies with the dogs.  More chores to finish off the morning.  After lunch, Julie came west for a run and another walk with the dogs.  Working in the shop this evening, and a steady night, plenty out walking with the fine evening.  More walkies, now feet up. 

Although it was a fine sunny day, it was chilly in the breeze, warm in the lea.  Out in the hills, there wasn't much lea, exposed to the elements, and a taste of winter to come.  Shame this croft house was looking abandoned, no offer of a cuppa or a peat fire to warm up here with.  The house certainly has plenty of character and charm, with a very traditional look to it.  Taken at Omunsgarth, Sandsound, Aithsting.
